We have hosted many make-n-take workshops over the years, and we have some parts left over! In the future we intend to intentionally build up a reserve of materials available to physics teachers for the cost of the materals. SLAPT exists to provide a local support network for physics teachers in the St. Louis area. Through our meetings and newsletters we share ideas, knowledge, and experience to help each other improve physics education and to provide special opportunities for our students.

Membership

In order to streamline communication within the group, the membership database is now web-based. Please fill out the membership form to enter your information into the database to receive information about upcoming events.

Dues

Dues to support the expenses of SLAPT are $10 per year. Make your check out to "St. Louis Area Physics Teachers" and mail it to Gene Bender - SLAPT treasurer, DeSmet Jesuit High School, 233 N. New Ballas Rd., St. Louis, MO 63141, or bring your check to any meeting throughout the year.
